A Crownlands settlement in week four: buildings with stack sizes on a hex map, the market at the bottom, magic cards on the left.

Build

Build with care

Day by day you grow a small settlement on a hex map: buy buildings from the market, place them with care, upgrade them and send settlers to claim new land.

Dwellings raise stacks of creatures. Farms make those stacks bigger, forges sharpen their blades, taverns lift their morale. Where you build matters as much as what you build.

An automatic battle on a hex field: griffins and knights of the Crownlands clash with bone guards of the Gravelands.

Fight

Then the battle fights itself

At the end of the day your army takes the field, and your settlement becomes your half of the battlefield: whatever stands near the front fights first. You see the enemy before the battle begins and can still redeploy your stacks.

After that, it is out of your hands. Knights charge, crossbowmen loose volley after volley, vampires drain life and liches spread clouds of death, turn by turn on a hex grid.

Deployment before a battle against another player's Gravelands settlement with 481 skeletons.

Compete

PvP without waiting

On most days you face a ghost: the settlement another player built on the same day of their own run, matched to your record. No waiting for opponents, no time pressure, and every battle is against a real player's plan.

The first day of each week belongs to neutral guardians, from wolf packs to dragon broods. Without a connection, you keep playing offline against bots.

Choose your side

Two factions

A Crownlands knight with sword and shield in front of a castle and a blue crown banner, a mounted knight behind him.

Crownlands

Spearmen, crossbowmen, griffins, monks and knights on horseback. High morale gives their stacks extra actions, and strong upgrades turn a modest village into an elite army.

Skeleton warriors with spiked helmets march out of a misty graveyard under a black skull banner.

Gravelands

Skeletons, zombies, vampires, liches and the Bonewyrm. Necromancy turns every living enemy that falls into another skeleton for your graveyard, so the horde keeps growing from battle to battle.
